Plain Green Lithium Heparin (no gel) or Sodium Heparin tube or Heparin syringe. Lithium Heparin preferred.

Whole blood-1 ml minimum volume.

Ran when received at the hospital- sample is good up to 2 weeks. Sample may be ran after 2 weeks per physician request.
