Specimen Requirement
0.5 mL Serum or Lithium Heparin plasma; SST and PST acceptable.
Excess amounts of heparin in sample can cause depressed or elevated calcium results.
Ensure IV lines cleared of solution before filling collection tubes.

3 weeks at 2-8° C
